The Blogging Slave

I got the Power Bumper from Cal Exotics as a part of the Sexpert Program.  When I got it I thought, “Ho Crap!” this thing is probably larger than I would have usually gotten for myself.  It is only a little bit more than 5 inches insertable, but it is 10 inches overall.  So there is a lot of un-used space [well, un-insertable].

This is made of TPR and plastic.  It is waterproof, which is pretty cool for a rabbit.  It takes 4 AA batteries, and packs a punch.  One of the biggest minuses for me was the horrible smell that came with opening the box.  It reeked.  Super sad face.  I hate it when toys smell bad.  I let it air out, and while it helped a bit, it wasn’t much.  It can be cleaned with soap and water, so simple to take care of.  The noise level is very loud on this.  It is easily heard through comforter and closed doors.  So if you have someone living with you or visiting, this is not the toy to pull out to be discrete.

So now onto the actual using of the toy.  The control panel is super awkward.  There are four buttons that control it, two speeds, and then buttons to reverse the beads, and on/off.  The bad thing? They are labeled, on the bottom of the toy.  Where it is impossible as a single user to read what the heck you are doing.  If this was a go-to toy for you, or your only toy, it might not be a problem to remember the buttons, but everytime I used this I got very frustrated because I kept forgetting which button was where.

The worse thing for me? The texture.  It is intense.  I am not a big fan of texture, especially not all over my toy like such.  It actually would be something I would only recommend to advanced users because I think they are intimidating and rough when in use.  Lube, lube, lube is all I can say.

Overall, this was not a winner for me.  The buttons, the loud noise, and the texture was the three strikes and you’re out.  However, it did have some redeeming qualities that might make it a winner in your book, the vibrations were strong and stronger, and if you like texture that would be great.  It is all about finding a toy that you’ll love.
